Why people don’t buy your product

You might think that there are many reasons that will cause people not to buy, but I think you can roughly group them in 6 categories:

  • they don’t know you exist,
  • they don’t understand what problem you are solving for them,
  • they don’t believe your solution will solve their problem,
  • they think it costs too much,
  • they think they can wait,
  • they think your solution is too complicated to use.

You want to start thinking about addressing this potential problems early when refining your idea.

  • they don’t see why they should buy your product rather than a competing product. They don’t see why are you a better choice.

  • your sales process is no adapted to your customers
